GLENAYRE STATION

This is the Glenayre Station in the summer of 1962. Photo taken by a then 10 yr old Brad Brailsford and this is part of his collection.

Looking south, adjacent to Glenayre station, toward Skokie and Chicago. The property was well maintained right to the end, as is apparent in Brad's 1962 photo. Notice the Maintenance of way building at the end of the parking lot, (left center). That structure was used for storage of equipment and served as a living quarters for employees.
